Welcome to 505 Bucket List !!

Hello everyone!

We’re three college students at the University of New Mexico.

Go Lobos!>

Like everyone else, we love to go out to cafes/bars, to spend quality time with ourselves or with family/friends.

So.. We made this blog to share our community and help you with our best-recommended café/bar to your Albuquerque Bucket List.

In this post, we will like to introduce ourselves with questions about our favorite café/bar in Albuquerque.

Hi, I am Queenie! I  love to explore new places!

BAR UNO

Location: 108 2nd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Open Hours: 4:00PM to 1:30AM (Everyday!!)

This bar s located in heart of the Downtown, Albuquerque. There will be a yellow signboard in front of the bar and you might wanna guess what is behind the glass door. This bar can enter approximately 30 people and you can also play some UNO(Absolutely!)

The reason why I like: UNO Bar is open every day till midnight(Holiday hours apply.)  The owner of the bar has talented humor and is very respectful this place makes me feel like I am not in a bar.

Recommendation: Their bartender knows the best of the taste. I will definitely suggest their weekly cocktail with your favorite liquor. But personally, I love their Daiquiri.

Blackbird Coffee House

Location: Patio Market Old Town

Open Hours: Sunday-Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm & Weekends 8:30am - 5:00pm

I like this coffee shop a lot because its atmosphere is so peaceful. The first things that caught my eye were the colorful walls. You can definitely enjoy a cup of coffee while doing homework, reading a book, or hanging out with friends. They also have tables and chairs outside on the patio if you want to enjoy the weather and natural sunlight.

Recommendation:

They have seasonal drinks, I personally love their pumpkin spice chai latte and the white chocolate lavender. They also created great names for some of their signature coffees like Roadrunner and Jack Rabbit. If you're not too sure of what to get you can always ask the baristas and rest assured they make the best recommendations based on your preferences. Just like any other coffee shop they offer savory different sandwiches/bakery to complement your beverage.

Happy Accidents

Location: 3225 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106

Open Hours:

Mon-Tuesday: Closed    Wed-Thursday: 5PM-11PM

Fri-Saturday:5PM-12AM    Sunday:5PM-11AM

This bar is located in the Nob Hill area in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This bar is a living breathing piece of art. From the fixtures hanging on the roof to the cleverly designed paintings, everywhere you go you will see something that is art inspired. This bar has a deep connection with the famous artist, Bob Ross.

The reason why I like this bar:

There are many reasons why someone might like this bar. The second you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff. You get seated and get to enjoy all of the art. Then once you look at the menu you get to explore all of the options. They are known for making cocktail drinks with a giant bubble from it.

Recommendations:

I have never been disappointed with their drinks. One of the drinks that I do recommend is The Claw. If you are a fan of Mango, this is the drink to get. It is a drink that is fused with mango and vodka.
